Responsibilities

Serve customers by selling Hexagon PPM’s software products and meeting customer needs. The position will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s software products and/or related services. The position will manage named accounts/customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Services named accounts, obtains software and services orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule. Expand opportunities in named accounts (Owner Operators) in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore and Marine industries.
  • Position is a software and services sales position.
  • Position is part of US Sales whose requirement is to manage and expand business within named accounts.
  • Position is expected to make 3 to 5 face to face sales calls a week.
  • Position is for a quota carrying salesperson.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by opportunity
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential business in assigned named accounts.
  • Submits quotes by referring to price lists.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses as requested.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales as well as utilizing SF.com for forecasting.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience working with Owner Operators.
  • Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas industry and software sales experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation and product Knowledge
  • Experience meeting sales goals
  • Must display self-confidence and a motivation for sales
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills especially Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with managing client relationships
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
